dvds enable time travel to the 90s

so bnharrison has been trying to get me to watch due south for like two years, and today i finally watched my first episode. in fact it was the first episode of season three. my sister wandered in while i was waching.

prof_: "Wait, did I just hear the name 'ZOLTAN MOTHERWELL'??"
sister: "...That is not possible."
prof_: *rewinds episode*
prof_: "Oh my god IT'S TRUE." *cracks up for like five minutes*
sister: "That sounds like a space alien from the midwest."

*some ridiculous shit is happening onscreen, i.e. fraser and ray k are driving around an exploding, flaming car and trying to figure out a convenient place to park it that will not inconveneience any passers-by. don't forget the parts with the ghost dad and the deaf dog that can read lips*
sister: "Well, I can never watch 'The Wire' after seeing it's so clearly ripped off from this show!"

i am looking forward to how callum keith rennie's chicago accent will develop through the series. :D

Due South is one of the show that make me happiest. Fraser that one of those few heroes who that as first glance may seem totally square, but I still find endlessly fascinating.
