prof_pangaea | random update is random

only two months after i originally injured it (however the hell i managed to do that in the first place), my back seems to be almost back to normal! hurrah! i can look up, down, to the left, the right, and all those in betweens as well! there's still some twinging from time to time but mostly i am back to my original functionality. yays. now if i had any idea whatsoever as to how i hurt it i would try and do things to prevent it from happening again, but as it is i'll just, er, hope it won't. yes.

cesario's mom sent me a box of homemade fudge! this goes along with the box of holiday treats mah dad sent me (which i also received today); candied pecans, santa's whiskers cookies, chocolate covered pretzals. nom nom nom. the festive snacks also go along with the wee christmas tree i put up the other night, and also all the lights that i and

dont_assume put up over the weekend.

confusionsetsin gave us moral support and also nails. christmas lights are great because winter is cold and grey and depressing, and wee little lights make everything sparkly and nice. we are planning a nice holiday dinner type thing for christmas eve. i'll be in chicago for the week following christmas so sadly i'll be missing whomageddon in real time, but i'll be with you all on the astral plane. please don't burn down the internet while i'm gone.

omg my sister sent me pictures of baby aedan with a santa hat and i don't want to brag guys, but my nephew is PRETTY DAMN CUTE. i'll finally be meeting him next month when i and my other sister go to visit for a semi-delayed holiday extravaganza of awesome. there will be a tiny baby with part of my genome in him, and also copious amounts of harry potter uno! yay!!
