omg girl in the fireplace is still the saddest thing ever made. and still so good. managed not to cry liken a wee baby as i waitched it just now unlike last time.
first time i saw it i was impressed because it was quite clever, but not as moved, because i was stuck on the "he's worth the monsters!" (which i still find gross, but am better able to ignore now). i liked it more the more i saw it. last time i saw it was not long after my partner and i split up, so i was all, 'OMG THEIR LOVE IS SO TRAGIC AND SO IS ALL LOVE WAAAAAAH". thankfully that's not how i'm feeling anymore. :D
