i have been ill for much too long. i need strengths to goto the grocery store but i have no strengths. ;___; i had to steal my roommate colin's soup yesterday because of hunger and weakness. still managed to get out to vote on tuesday (my roommate land walked me to the polling place, awwwe. little did he know i was going to eat colin's soup). hopefully this will finish up soon because i have some wizard rock to go see tomorrow evening, dammit.

CLEMENTINE A. BUMBLEHUD

this is our kitty! her name is clementine and she is internet cousins with

lizbee's kitty, harvey, because of reasons that make sense. she was rescued from the stairwell and then the next week she became our kitty because our love was stronger than iron. she is clem for short.

things clem likes to do:
gnaw on you
sit on your lap and purr
sleep
wrestle
stalk your face
attack your face
play with toys (favourites are wrappers, plastic bags, and hands)
give people kitty kisses
pretend she is in the jungle
try to catch the cursor on my laptop screen
ruin the blinds
chirp
jump on your leg and climb you like a tree
try to catch stuff with her front paws
hold your hand with her paws so she can chew it/lick it
steal my cough drops and make me chase her
try to get into the refrigerator
hide in my bookcase
investigate interesting noises

she is an awesome kitty and we love her.

*squees, hugs kitteh* My whole leg hurts and my arm from the tetanus shot and I must pace around while thinking/working/writing a lot more than I thought because now I can't and it's pissing me off, whine whine.

You know, I'm not that into kitties (try living with the one I deal with daily and you'd understand), but Clem is EXCEPTIONALLY cute.

omg clem just chirped at me from the doorway, i turned around to look and i guess that startled her cos she flipped and ran straight into the doorjam. then after i stopped laughing at her she must have come back, hid behind the door, and then suddenly she ran and jumped straight at my head (i'm lying on the floor cos of not being able to move). i think she wants me to wrestle with her but i am too sick to run about. poor clem.

i need to writing some stuff too and yet i can't seem to get the energy up to do more than look for another tissue. eventually i will have to take a bus to the grocery store but i am avoiding it.

I would do your shopping for you except, you know, for the eight-hour commute involved. FIX MY KNEE PLEEZ.

i love clem. she always runs to the door when i get home because she missed me. and because she likes to investigate noises. she comes when she's called most of the time, too.

i am supposed to be working on sekrit project, so i have even more reason to be getting better! blah, stupid immune system.

clem is trying to make me feel better by repeatedly attacking me as i lay on the floor.

i hope i figure out ow to get pictures off my phone sometime so i can share the pics of her when she is all wee and such.

she is awesome cos she lets you rub her belly vigorously. well, only so she can chew on your hand but still.

I am too, but I've been at a stuck point for a few days now. I think what I might do is wait for "Planet of the Dead" to air to see if there's any material in that I can use. And, maybe staying away will give me some fresh perspective.

Meanwhile, I have about seventy million other drawings I could work on, like Sekrit Project #2.

oh god i hope i am up for it by then. i am too sick to do anything right now. i went to the grocery store and i thought i was going to collapse and then throw up at any moment. gaaaaaaah. nausea was from pain/headache, not gastrointestinal distress, i think, so that's good.

she is very vocal, she has many different chirps. some are a bit like a pigeon. she has a really high-pitched meow that i make fun of her for too. she does it when she wants to jump on the counter or drink the water out of my glass and i won't let her and she complains that she's being oppressed. her life is hard.

i'll call you guys tomorrow. hopefully i'll be better by then and i can make ye pizzas as was my plan. right now i want to curl up and be unconscious forever.

Is she afraid of fizzy drinks? Coke makes Harvey very nervous.

i don't really drink soda, so i don't know. sometimes the roommates do but they usually buy cans. i think she would be interested in soda because of the fizzing sounds. crinkly noises are why wrappers and plastic bags are among her favourite things to play with.

i'm sure that your kitty helps cheer you up, though. i know that when i am sick it's nice to have my kitty greet me at the door and then snuggle with me.
