jamie wakes up from a terrible nightmare in which there was, in his words, "a big white horse with a horn, right in the middle of his head -- he was charging strait towards me -- head down, ready for the kill, i thought, any moment --"
but before the moment of climax the doctor interrupts, stroking the TARDIS console and requesting "just a little bit more power".
a strong, alien vibration starts coursing through everyone's bodies! the doctor tells jamie to be quiet as he tries to figure out why it reminds him of that really embarrassing time at the academy when he was only twenty-seven and it really wasn't fair for the master to have -- BUT WAIT.
the cameraman becomes an expressionist while the doctor exclaims, "it's too strong! it's too powerful! no! it's too powerful!"
the TARDIS rotates through a black void and symbolically EXPLODES.
jamie and zoe clutch desperately to familiarity as they travel into unknown territory within themselves.
then this happens.
jamie, like many in the audience, can't believe that just happened.
then zoe confuses everyone by SCREAMING IN INTENSE VOLUME while mounting the console.
for reasons unknown, we are presented with patrick troughton's rotating head.
all across the united kingdom hundreds of thousands of adolescents are permanently scarred by The Worst Sexual Awakening Ever.
although it must be added that there were a few who said it was The Best.
