The Now Show is my new love
Apr. 4th, 2004 09:11 pmCheck out The Now Show on Radio4:
"So, if you even question the nature or sanity of waging War on Hydra -- sorry, did I say Hydra? I meant Terror. War on Hydra, that would be absurd, dangerous, unwinnable war, and every time you cut off one head two more would appear. Silly me. Now, if you even question the War on Gremlins fought with only water pistols and water bombs -- woops, there I go again. Silly, really."
and
"Look, your argument is buttocks: it stinks, it has a large crack up the middle, and frankly, it's beneath you."
and
"The problem is, George Bush drew a simplistic line in the sand. It was probably going to a nice picture of a day he had at the seaside, or a dog, but he got confused, or bored, or something, and then Dick Cheney said something about men with facial hair, and boom -- it was suddenly, you're either with us or against us. Tough call; you don't want to be a terrorist, while black is slimming, dynamite isn't. And I certainly ain't with George, on account of, I can read."
So good!!
