I second the tim curry sentiment. Other favorites are Vigo Mortenson in The Prophecy, Tom Waits in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus and Peter Cook in the original Bedazzled. Vertigo's Lucifer deserves an honorable mention as well.

I thought that Krampus was a pre-christian pagan tradition, and therefore not actually connected to Satan in any way. You're right, though, in that he does fit in with the spirit of this post (and I like photos of him too!).

Anyway, I would have to say that my favorite depiction of the devil is the Robot Satan from "Futurama". :)

and yes boris karloff is way sexy, but not with that bizarre hairpiece. you do get to see him shirtless in that movie, though (the black cat).
