I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun there. And the guest list... wow! I was looking hard at going but I don't see it happening, so I'm setting my sights on New York TARDIS in May (maybe) and of course Chicago TARDIS (already paid for my membership). I'd love to meet Katy Manning, though. Hmm.
Edit: Forget that. I JUST found out that there will be no New York TARDIS this year, dammit. :(

yeah, i'd heard about NY TARDIS, but wasn't sure, as the site hasn't been updated to reflect that. there are still plans to do some kind of convention event there in the near future though, so don't give up hope! (heard the CT crew and the doctor who NY crew might be teaming up and making some kind of venue actually in the city, as opposed to NY TARDIS, which was going to be held out in the burbs).

meanwhile i'll look forward to seeing you again in chicago!

If they hadn't announced New York TARDIS in the first place, I would have planned for Gallifrey all along and probably been able to make it. So the cancellation is really very disappointing. The Gallifrey guest list is so awesome. Oh, well. That makes Chicago 100% for me, then, if there was ever any doubt.

well, the inebriated bit is just a supposition, but it is one that is supported by my observations from the past three cons i've been to. cons + guests = alcohol consumption at the hotel bar.

i will try and take good notes so you can live vicariously through me!
