*glomps you* I was so depressed after TW but this had me squeeing like a .... I was clapping and everything. That looks like its going to be the best DW ep in a long long time.
BUT, considering its July this is probably still in editing. I'm pretty sure Murray Gold will get something in.
i think he writes some great music and also some incredibly twee shite. the soundtrack for PotD almost ruined the entire episode -- it definitely ruined the ending. also: . and yeah, sometimes the lack of music is what makes a scene. *thinks of that bit from 42*
still haven't seen ep 4 of torchwood but i should be able to in about a half an hour. the writing is good enough this season that i think i will actually care when spoiler happens. crazy. but mostly i will be looking for scenes with nick briggs. because everything is better with nick. :D
i'm sure there will be plenty of murray gold music in the ep, but i hope that scenes remains silent, because it supports the creepy. just like the scene in 42 that was almost entirely silent -- it was much more moving than it would have been with music. we'll see!
That was definitely the best part of the episode. The imagery itself was gorgeous, but the silence of the scene was what made it beautiful and haunting and... guh.
But I think "This is Gallifrey - This really needs a better title" is lovely and I love it to bits. I think it's got one of the highest playcounts on my iTunes.

omg i love "This is Gallifrey -- Our Childhood, Our Home", and i even love the title BECAUSE I AM AN ENORMOUS SAP because i am an enormous sap. wistful and overwhelming and a bit scary all at the same time.
