Huh. You're right. I like 'em big and bombastic. You like 'em skinny and sartorially challenged. You are shockingly wise.

And I've already told you! John Barrowman IS really unattractive. Captain Jack is where it's at. But you've got a point. The galaxy-sized ego is really what turns my crank. ::facepalm:: I disgust myself sometimes.

if jack got the treatment that kirk did in a lot of the ST books (fleshing out his character, making him not a douche, etc) i would probably\end up liking him a lot more. it's why i don't mind reading some fic about jack if it's written well, because the idea of the character's quite good once he's not confined by bad writing and acting. not that i've really found any jack fic that's done that, but it could exist.
