Everyone misses Mark Lenard's hotness. He had the perfect craggy/angular face for a Vulcan, especially circa ST III.
don't forget his beautiful voice, either.
On a completely shallow level, Pike inna wheelchair probably isn't even that well remembered from the old series.
it's remembered enough to be a joke in a doctor who/star trek parody (with pike compared to davros). so, familiar to people who watched the original series, but probably not people who just watched the movies.
