okay, i might have gone and accidentally got excited about the new star trek movie. and maybe now have plans to see it on wednesday night with friends for my birthday. and even made an icon from my favourite star trek movie and everything.

I had too much going on to see it this weekend and am very, very sad about this. I keep hoping there's a way I can convince my husband to play hooky from work so we can go see it NOW NOW NOW.

I haven't seen it yet, but of course I've already read the plot summary online. I'll just say that... I have my trepidations. They certainly came up with a clever way of getting around the canon of the original series.

Also, no matter how awesome he may turn out to be in this movie, Syler will NEVER be Spock to me. (Though Simom Pegg is made of awesome no matter what.)
