listening to the big finish christmas podcast is an activity i highly recommend, since it is fourty-five minutes of nick briggs (and david richardson) talking about buying a velvet suit for the VotD premiere, or the lovely laura doddington getting all excited because she was working with sophie aldred ("It's ACE! It's Sophie Aldred!!"), or peter davison sneaking into the studio for the recording of the boy that time forgot because he was afraid that matthew waterhouse would be there.

best part is how they interrupt the podcast to make tea.

ETA: ahahahahahaha yes! nick talking about being at chicago TARDIS and jason haigh-ellery playing a song from one of the doctor who stage plays and horrifying the entire audience. SO TRUE.

I *tried* to give BF mah money yesterday to buy the Unbound with the Briiiig in it but it is such a hassle and finally when Verified by Visa ate my password I had had enough and gave up. Maybe I will give them mah money after the holidays when I am relaxed enough to deal with the stupid site.

their site is... really not well-designed. it's slow and difficult to navigate as well. probably a result of it having sort of grown from a much smaller site to what it is now, and not having been designed to do what it does now in the first place.

but yes. BRIIIIIIIIIIIIG. sympathy for the devil is one of my favourite BF audios ever, and so i am SO EXCITED about masters of war. nick or jason mentioned it during one of the BF panels and i literally jumped into the air and yelled "YES!". then everyone stared at me so i sat back down.

someday you will have to be able to get over your prejudice re: david warner, just as someday i will have to accept that david tennant isn't gay. I wish I had HTML skillz so I could redesign their entire site top-to-bottom. Nothing about it works right now, and the downloads are great but so hard to get! I want to throw money at them to be well-stocked for the holidays...

I will figure it out before the 26th though because I must have Masters of War to listen to on aeroplanes. MUST. I adored Sympathy for the Devil, of course...
