I have *NEVER* understood how Rose went from specifically asking Mickey to join Team TARDIS to behaving like toddler faced with brussels sprouts when he does.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't 100% official confirmation, but it isn't looking likely. On the other hand, that story about disgruntled writers literally throwing scripts in shredders can only have been written by someone utterly clueless about show business.
