i made a drawing based on all the time i have been spending in the time vortex lately. references that last episode of doctor who, utopia, with a bit of spoiler-type action. please not to be clicking unless you know or want to know pivotal dramatic climax of same!







based on previous evidence we know that the chameleon arch does not change a person's appearance, so i am currently taking yana's memory of being found as a child on the coast of the silver devastion as being a manufactured memory. this will undoubtedly be russelled (possibly within twenty-four hours!), but until then i can imagine a young jacobi!master working with the doctor to defeat the daleks doing masterly type things for several years before he shows up in the year one hundred trillion and shaves off his itchy goatee.

thus a sketch ensues!


comments and critique welcomed! although i did already notice the dodgy right eye... and the dodgy hair... frankly it's all a bit dodgy to my eyes at this point. i should probably try again or somesuch.

Coming in rather late (scanning through the earlier pages of saxonvoters, I think) to say, this is beautiful.

I don't suppose you might do or have done younger versions of the first Master and Doctor?

it is distinctly possible that i have made internet searches for pictures of a young william hartnell for just that reason. maybe. (haven't found any good ones yet, though!) meanwhile, haven't decided what young master/koschei would look like, as i don't think delgado was his first body.

not that i spend time pondering these things or coming up with backstory about how the master was first exiled from gallifrey when he was deputy coordinator for the celestial intervention agency and abused the laws of time to try and help the doctor.

Aw, and here I was hoping you had found a satisfactory picture (What? You ask if I have also done such searches? Of course not!) of young Hartnell.

I was thinking the first Master would look like that kid in TSoD growed up, all dark hair and pale skin and...blue? Big wide eyes, anyway, but I'm afraid I don't really have the imagination to grow him up or turn Hartnell into a youth.

Also, backstory=ooooh.
