Christopher Eccleston is great, but a large part of that results from the fact that the writers are allowed to do such interesting things with the new series, that weren't exactly allowed in the old one. If Tom Baker, for instance, was playing the Doctor now... O_o ...That'd be pretty amazing.
Jon Pertwee has very interesting relationships with his companions... I might even say that there are shadows of the tension between the Doctor and Rose with Pertwee's Doctor and Jo, and especially between he and Sarah Jane (another reason I am VERY MUCH hoping that she will appear in the new series!). Plus, he always kicks everyone's ass with fake judo (which he conveniently named "Venusian Aikido" in The Green Death. Awesome!
BTW, did my dad ever send you those remaining episodes, and the Star Wars DVDs
No, he hasn't. I sent him an email a while ago, I don't know if he received it or not. Also: why on earth would I ever feel free to yell at your dad? I don't yell at anyone, let alone the parents of friends who would be doing me a favour.
