Hey, is this my first poem?

That's why it's bad. But that's OK!

I remember England
I can see the moist earth
and shining leaves along the walkways
mossy boxed flowers
damp with the remnant of autumn rain
wet fresh air brushes my temples
past the gritty council houses
as I look into the clear grey skies

Actually, that was very good! I thought I was reading something by Whitman until I saw your subject line! Damn, that's excellent for a first poem!

That's very nice, thank you, though maybe over-effusive. If true, however, it does support my theory that I am really a middle-aged gay man.

By the way, that icon is incredibly great! I forgot how cute Holmes was in The Cardboard Box.

Over-effusive? I was quite serious.

And we all knew that you are Ian Mckellen on the inside.
