I'm with you about biking weather and the store! There were plenty of times this winter when I wanted something but couldn't stand the thought of riding out in the cold and ice.

I walk my cat on a leash. Just around my own yard so far, though, since I won't let him run loose. I don't know how he'd feel about taking a stroll down the street. He might not be confident enough for that.
