Yes! I really hate when people define slash as a certain type of fic (and frankly, I find cesperanza's definition of it, where she says slashers write about men who are better than real men, really offensive). On the one hand, it's tempting to say to those people, okay, I don't write that, and I don't want anything to do with your definition, so I guess I'm not a slasher, but...no. I don't want to let slash be only that. If I write fanfic with queer characters, it's slash.
