I was not happy to notice that bit of fail the other day. Like violetisblue says, it should not be that hard a lesson to learn that you call the person by the pronoun they prefer. FFS, people should be able to grasp it under the principle of basic politeness even if they can't wrap their heads around the concept of transgenderism in the first place.
