ugh, i didn't realise that was still running. blah. do you know of any similarly pathetic strips that started up more recently, though?

also, are those packets of flavoured instant oatmeal available in britain nowadays? i don't remember seeing them when i was there but that was six years ago and also it was not the kind of thing i would have looked for anyway.

Aha, as the ex-getter-of-papers at work, I might know this. How about Scorer out of the daily mirror? That's basically about a footballer and his girlfriends, I think. Title sort of gives it away in its tabloidy glory 0.o

i am torn because i want something originally british but all i can think of is dan dare. which i quite like, actually. but i like the idea of handy pining for the golden era of modesty blaise. one probably had a crush on her.

Sainsbury's website is your friend. So very handy when determining which foodstuffs are available in the UK.

Modesty was originally British, though, wasn't she?

*facepalm* this makes sense to do, especially since i've actually checked tesco's website before to see if they sell wine or not. faaaaaaaaail.

Eh, sometimes it's faster to just ask people to answer the question for you. I may have to do the same thing tonight to solve a spelling problem.
