it does! it so obviously does, and yet the characters don't acknowledge this! WTF.

and yes, i noticed the defaulting to sarah jane. i think that's another reason all the dialogue about "the missus and the ex! lol!" grates, because the story itself points that out, except much more effectively and subtlely. and with more nuance.
