i have no idea how or why, but i have not seen edge of darkness. i was always about to get it out of the library when i lived in chicago, but never did. then i remembered it existed recently and was like OH YEAH, but the milwaukee county library system no longer does holds or transfers for theatrical films (educational is all right, so hamlet with jacobi -- yes, hamlet with branaugh -- no), so i would have to transport myself to the specific library that had the movie and and take it out directly from there. which is difficult to do without a car. maybe they have a copy at central? ...damn they don't. argh. well, i will see it SOMEDAY.
i used to have an icon of him with the gun and the teddy bear, but i deleted it. *sads*
the trevor nunn macbeth stars ian mckellan and judi dench, and it is available on dvd (or vhs, which is what i have). it so good. ian mckellan is amazing (and hot). judi dench is also amazing, and would be hot if only she wasn't wearing a weird cloth on her head. (she was really hot in the 1968 production of a midsummer night's dream with ian richardson as oberon and ian holm as puck. she is naked and sexy and her long hair covers his nipples so she can stand in trees and be a green naked fairy person.
