I love this post. I was pretty lukewarm about the episode on Sunday, mostly because I couldn't get over the stupidity of the plot. But you've pulled out all the awesome bits and given them screencaps. And you found the theme! I can't believe I didn't spot that Donna, Wilf and Rose were all looking for something that was just under their nose. (Assuming that Unexpected Rose was indeed looking for the Doctor...)

Re: the Adipose planet disappearing, I expected her to say it was due to the Time War. Like the Autons losing their protein planet back in "Rose".
